Forming part of a group of service buildings connected to a large country house, the building had originally been used to make coal gas to power the main house. Having been unused for a while, the building had a severely decayed roof, subsidence at one end and a loss of original detailing from an alteration to the doors. The building was completely renovated and repaired with the original detailing re formed. The roof was repaired and modern services & insulation installed for the building to be brought back into use as a holiday cotatge.
