Table Hall, Peterborough 24/03/2006
Table Hall is a late medieval building, largely timber framed, thought to be the dining hall for monks serving the Minster Infirmary at Peterborough. The project completed repair and upgrading originally started in the 1950’ – one of the craftsmen who worked on this project helped with the 1960’s emergency work! The work included reslating to collywestern slate roof, repairs to the roof structure and the timber frame, external plaster repairs and external improvements, with full decoration.
