As Architects, we provide a means of interpreting your own ideas, concepts and dreams and turning them into a workable design. We have skilled designers with flair and imagination who have been highly trained in building technology, economics and materials so that we can provide our clients with an exciting and stylish yet practical response to their needs.

As Surveyors we can assess your requirements and project manage the work to your needs, working within your budgets and constraints, drawing the practicalities to your attention. We can assess the scale of any problems the building has and suggest cost effective remedial work appropriate to the structure, consistent with a conservation and ecologically friendly approach.

As Architects we will develop the project to give maximum value to the client within their budget. By providing a fully detailed design solution and allowing builders to tender for the works, the likelihood of hidden costs arising during a contract are reduced to a minimum. Through careful selection, we aim to ensure the right builder is chosen for your project at the right cost. All works are checked, valued and monitored during construction, to ensure you receive the high standards of quality and finish you require within an agreed timescale and cost.

The relationship between the Architect or surveyor and Client is a professional one with costs and fees agreed formally in writing at the outset. Either An Architect or a Surveyor overseeing your project will give you a well run, cost effective project with the end result of a well designed exciting building that will give you pleasure.

As Building Surveyors we are concerned to develop your project the way you want. Our project management expertise has a proven track record of buildings built on target and on budget.

At WCP we aim to understand the needs and requirements of our clients, and will work closely with you. Being a Practice of both Chartered Architects and Chartered Building Surveyors, we are ideally suited to both existing buildings as well as new build, and are equally at home working on either. Amongst the staff we have a wide range of experience and specific fields of interest including building conservation, townscape conservation, analysis of historic buildings, timber frames, new build & renovation, church restoration, restoration of fire damage, ecological design, energy efficiency and contemporary design.

As an owner of a building you will occasionally need to undertake repairs and maintenance. To ensure that appropriate and cost effective works are undertaken it is necessary to properly understand the type of building, it's construction and condition. As a firm of both Architects and Surveyors we bring a depth of experience and knowledge.

At some time in our lives we will all either rent or buy a building whether domestic, for our own purposes or commercial for businesses, etc. We offer a wide range of survey options for those intending to buy or rent premises. These range from simple specific defect analysis reports to complex full building surveys. On commercial buildings we are often called upon to prepare a Schedule of Condition to be attached to Leases. However, there is increasing interest and encouragement for those thinking of selling property to subject the building to survey. We have experience in preparing Vendor Surveys and advising clients on what repairs ought to be undertaken before placing a property on the market.

As Building Surveyors we will listen to your requirements and report on your building using appropriate language and a concise written report. Subject to appropriate expenses and costs, we are prepared to inspect buildings anywhere in the UK and Europe.

We have many years of experience and even more satisfied clients, why not contact us and discuss how we can help with your project?
