The sails have been refitted this week on Stevens Windmill, Burwell, Cambridgeshire. The project was featured on BBC1’s “Restoring England’s Heritage” on 5th December.
The rehanging of the sails is the final piece of work on the project. Once the sails and the mill machinery which they drive have been commissioned the windmill will be able to operate for the first time in many years.
