The project was to convert a redundant building into an annex to provide self-contained accommodation. The existing building is adjacent to a listed building and had been a former chip shop in the village but had not been used for a number of years. In order to create the annex, a modern garden building was demolished and a modern contemporary extension constructed behind the listed street front building. The accommodation provided a single bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen . The existing building was restored as part of the project but not altered as the street played an important part in the streetscape.
