Orange Triangle

New Home

The concept behind this new home revolved around space, light and views. The result is a largely open plan house, with large floor-to-ceiling glass expanses and large single pane windows, flooding the spaces with light and offering 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside and farmland.

Project Overview

The house gained planning in the middle of the Norfolk countryside through replacement dwelling policy, replacing a dilapidated bungalow. The new home is a contemporary property, with air source heat pump, heat recovery unit and state of the art lighting and electrical systems.

A contemporary twist on the many Norfolk gables, the aim was to deliver a unique property with clean crisp lines. The material palette is simple, comprising traditional red brick, render and zinc roofing.

Internally, an oak and steel feature stair with a floating appearance on an oak clad wall sits behind a vertical window running from ground level to roof level. Across the first floor there are four bedrooms and three bathrooms/en-suites, with the master bedroom benefiting from the double vaulted roof.
