Orange Triangle

New Build, Equal Access Family Home

This new build was in the grounds of an existing house owned by the client. He had proposed for a new 3 storey house for his grandson and carer to live with plenty of room and light but without it being obviously designed to have disabled access on all 3 levels.

Project Overview

The scheme included a 3-bay garage with storage areas and utilities on the lower ground level, an open plan living and dining area with an open fire, study and kitchen on the upper ground level. Finally, a spacious bedroom with easy access to the bathroom and a small study and a separate set of bedrooms and bathrooms, while connecting all three floors with a discreet and elegant lift through the centre of the highly insulated timber frame building.
