Orange Triangle

Company History

Established in 1963 as Whitworth and Hall, Whitworth has an established reputation for high-class architectural and building surveying services.

Whitworth & Hall became known as The Whitworth Co-Partnership in 1985. Boniface Associates, of Bishop’s Stortford was set up in 1993 and built a strong reputation in building surveying. The two practices merged in January 2000. The Whitworth Co Partnership expanded further in 2004, when the practice took over Andrew Anderson’s Norwich office and began operating from Norwich and Norfolk.

At Whitworth we specialise in work to historic buildings, as well as ecclesiastical and residential work. The practice though is continually developing and more recently we have developed into the health and education sectors as well as commercial and public buildings. The practice employs highly experienced conservation specialists, with a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the built environment.

The practice changed the company name from Whitworth Co Partnership to Whitworth in March 2016, retaining our recognisable brand while making the name a little easier for everyone to say!
