Suffolk News has run a feature on the renovation of 11 High Baxter Street in Bury St.Edmunds. We have been working on this fascinating project for some time now with Bury St Edmunds Town Trust and their contractors, Seamans.

Like a lot of historic buildings, 11 High Baxter Street is revealing a fascinating story as everyone working on the project gets more involved in the renovations of this Grade II listed building.

Also in keeping with our experience of historical buildings the history of this house is starting to pose several more questions for every answer we find! The Bury St Edmunds Town Trust plans to publish a booklet detailing the history of the building and the people who have lived there over the years.

Renovating and repurposing old buildings has been one of several ‘specialist subjects’ that Whitworth is proud to focus on, building on many decades of experience.
