A second round of government funding of £25 million has recently been announced for the Listed Places of Worship: Roof Repair Fund. The scheme allows for organisations of all faiths and denominations responsible for a listed place of worship to apply for a grant from £10,000 to £100,000 for urgent repairs to roofs and rainwater disposal systems, around the UK.
More information on the scheme can be found by visiting www.lpowroof.org.uk
In the last round of funding The Whitworth Co-Partnership submitted applications for around 15 of our churches. Within Suffolk we have completed 4 of these with more to start in the new year.
One of the completed churches was All Saints Church, Stansfield, where the client kept an excellent video record of the project unfolding, as GJ Bream’s of Bury St Edmunds undertook the works.
The next round of funding is open until Friday 26th February If you are considering applying then we would be happy to assist with your application, so feel free to contact us.
