The decision has been taken as a simplification of the practices former name, whilst still retaining the established identity and the practice’s reputation which has been built up over the past 53 years.
This change will have no effect to those we are working with and will not alter any current arrangements the practice may have.
We would also like to confirm that Chartered Building Surveyor Tony Redman MA B Sc FRICS IHBC is retiring as a partner. Tony has been a partner in the practice since 1985, having joined the practice in 1979 and has gone on to undertake over 1000 inspections of churches of all denominations throughout his professional career, mainly in Suffolk but as far away as Moscow and Transylvania. This along with Tony’s many other achievements has helped Whitworth establish ourselves across Suffolk and Norfolk and further afield.
Tony will continue to undertake work for the practice as a consultant and will also continue his role as a self supporting minister in the Anglican Church.
We are pleased that Ed Thuell will become a partner in the practice, having been with the practice since 2008. Ed has been a practicing as a Chartered Architect for the past 2 years and will help the practice continue to develop as Whitworth.
