Stephen Boniface, Partner and Building Surveyor at Whitworth, has recently joined the team of trainers at BlueBox Partners, a company devoted to training surveyors for the future.
Established in 2006, BlueBox Partners provides support services to sole practitioners, as well as small, medium-sized and larger corporate organisations. With the aim of promoting surveyor excellence, they offer training and development services to help practitioners attain vital skills which will aid them on the road to success.
Stephen joins a team of experienced surveyors who mentor and create opportunities for other budding professionals. This is a perfect fit for Stephen; his decades of experience as a surveyor combined with his enthusiasm for communication and involvement in RICS and various industry conferences, enable him to pass a wealth of both practical and technical knowledge on to future generations.
Stephen will be taking part in BlueBox’s Annual Roadshows, starting in Swindon on 1st March 2019. These roadshows focus on the future of surveys, from property inspections through to the technology used for risk assessment in mining and ground movement, with the aim of helping attendees stay at the forefront of their industry.
Stephen’s future role will include training on the building surveying courses, and he is helping to develop new courses with a particular emphasis on building conservation.
